Paint Enhancement & Correction

Paint enhancement or correction is an essential stage prior to applying any ceramic coating.  These processes bring out gloss, depth and clarity and can minimize or eliminate light to medium scratches or marring in your vehicles paint.  These can be a stand-alone service or combined with our offered ceramic coating options.

At the Obsidian Detail Garage, we will meet with you the client to determine exactly what it is you are looking for and to set realistic expectations.  Based on this input and an assessment of your vehicle, we will select the best combination of equipment and products to use to bring the desired results.  Many shops will go right to the most aggressive approach to get fast results, but this approach will inevitably result in unnecessary loss of paint thickness which leads to premature paint failure.  This paint failure could impact the value of your car and may ultimately result in the need for a re-paint which can be quite costly.
